I am currently working in the MIMESIS team as R&D Software Engineer on the CIOS Fusion project.
Following my studies, I worked for 2 years in the MIMESIS team as a R&D engineer on the SOFA OR project, where my task was mainly to develop tools to bring SOFA to the operating room, through medical device integration and development of image processing tools.
Holding a Master degree in Computer Science, my studies were mainly focusing on Software development. Though my research interests goes to real time simulation, computer vision and augmented reality.
Over the past few years, I’ve been brought to broaden my skills to many areas, from Data acquisition in the operating room to handiwork and DIY projects. During my free time at work, I currently work as the team’s swiss army knife, using regularly skills such as CAD designing & prototyping, 3D printing, silicone casting and small embedded electronics.
Software engineer from training, I also help the team with programming good practices, organizing workgroups and code review sessions.
