Biography

I am a professor in computer science at the University of Strasbourg and head of the multimedia department of IUT Haguenau (part of Strasbourg University). I am currently working with the MIMESIS team at Inria and the IGG team at ICube laboratory. My areas of interest include geometrical modeling, animation and simulation and especially the development of multiresolution models and real time interactions in virtual worlds. My works have led to applications in geometry processing and mechanical simulations for the planning, the learning and the guidance of surgical procedures.
