I am a Digestive and HBP (hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic) Surgeon currently working as a full-time Research Associate at the Institute of Image-Guided Surgery (IHU Strasbourg), and I have been working as an external collaborator with the Mimesis team since 2019.
During my surgical training, I became interested in multi-modal advanced medical imaging methods and progressively transformed myself into a hybrid surgeon. My main research interests are related to image-guided minimally-invasive interventions, with a strong focus on needle-based procedures and ablation methods of the liver, pancreas, and biliary tree.
I strongly believe in Translational Research as a way of impacting patient care and outcome, and I am a Master’s Student in the Healthcare Innovation program at the University of Strasbourg.
