I am currently a Ph.D. Student in the Mimesis Team, working on image-guided real-time simulation for fluoroscopy.
I previously worked at AVR-Icube as Research Engineer in a project of simulation for robotic needle insertion in small animals.
I graduated in 2014 in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, joining the team for the first time for my Master’s internship in 2013 (Methods to Create a Statistical Shape Atlas of the Liver for Augmented Reality in Laparoscopic Surgery).
After my graduation I became part of the team as R&D engineer in the project MIND for the IHU-Strasbourg, treating the development of new biomedical devices for human-computer interaction in operating rooms.
