Since October 2024, I am a post-doc researcher in the MIMESIS team of Centre Inria Nancy-Grand-Est (Strasbourg, FR). My project is funded by the phiFEM ANR. My work is concerned with the derivation and implementation of a posteriori error estimation and adaptive mesh refinement methods for the phi-FEM fictitious domain method.
I defended my PhD thesis in Computational Engineering and Applied Mathematics on March 2022 at the University of Luxembourg and Université de Bourgogne Franche-Comté, under the supervision of Prof. Stéphane P. A. Bordas, Prof. Franz Chouly, Dr. Jack Hale and Prof. Alexei Lozinski. My thesis work focused on a posteriori error estimation for finite element methods applied to fractional partial differential equations.
From May 2022 to August 2024 I worked as a post-doc researcher at the GIREF laboratory (Université Laval, Québec, CA) in collaboration with the company Michelin on superconvergent gradient reconstruction methods in the context of multi-material simulations.
