I graduated from Télécom Physique Strasbourg engineering school in bio-mechanical engineering and from the University of Strasbourg in medical imaging and robotics.
I joined the MIMESIS team in 2020 as part of my end-of-study internship, during which I had the opportunity to develop an automated catheter insertion system for cardiovascular surgery. This project, combining bio-mechanical simulation and deep reinforcement learning, enabled me to continue at MIMESIS as a research engineer.
Since then, I’ve been working on various research projects involving deep learning and real time simulation of organs. I am actively involved in the development of several code bases used by the team:
- DeepPhysX: a complete framework interfacing AI with numerical simulation
- SSD: a SQL tool to create databases from numerical simulation data
- SimRender: an interactive 3D renderer for numerical simulations
- SimExporter: a standalone HTML file exporter for interactive 3D animations like this
